Brookgreen Gardens Wedding

Wedding at Brookgreen Gardens

May 26th, 2009

I did my first wedding at Brookgreen Gardens, it’s such a great location for a wedding. We were kind of short on time for the couple portraits, but it didn’t take long to get some fantastic shots. I seemed to have made a good impression on the wedding coordinator for the gardens, she is putting me on her vendor list. I’m beginning to think my photography is starting to rival a lot of the other big guys in the area.

Family shots at Atalaya Castle, Huntington

May 18th, 2009

Usually family pictures are not very exciting, but I thought the Atalaya castle really made for some nice shots. There was another wedding going on inside the castle area, and they would not let us go inside. I’ve never really done any photography at the back of the castle, but it’s really a nice spot. It got us out of the harsh sun, and made for a nice background.

An update on what I mentioned about the Bridal Magazine, don’t ever submit your information to them. This is a warning. I’m still getting constant e-mail from all kinds of locations, and the bad thing unlike Viagra spam, Gmail can’t filter it out. At least the phone calls seems to have stopped.

Another Atalaya Castle Photo Shoot

May 14th, 2009

I did another photo shoot at the Atalaya Castle. It always turns out so nice down there. The only thing is they have covered over this walkway. It makes a much different look than it did with it open up top. It’s still nice but I think I liked it better before. Of course it’s still a great location. I just don’t understand why they would do this, a metal roof looks unnatural in the setting.
