One of my Tennessee hiking pictures got picked up for the Tennessee page on Virgin Atlantic’s Vtravelled.com site. I don’t know if this site even has any visitors, but I like that my picture is there. One of these days I will get to go hiking or do something out of the State again, hopefully.

Senior Portraits at Huntington State Park

I thought of another picture I should blog. I did senior portraits for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Not that it is much different than other types of photography, but I always worry that I’m going to do a good job with something new. The family seemed to love the pictures, there is a really nice review in my Testimonials. So if anyone is interested in senior portraits I should be able to do a good job for you.
Engagment Pictures

I figured I should post something to my blog again, I haven’t in so long. Weddings have slowed down now but I’m still doing plenty of beach appointments. August is almost booked up except I have a few openings the week of the 9th and I’m pretty open after the 24th. To be honest I don’t know why anyone would want to get married in the heat and humidity we are having right now. I notice weddings pick back up in October, that should be a really nice time of the year.
It’s always nice to have a couple that just got engaged. I try to make all my couples do romantic pictures no matter how long they have been married, but it’s just not quite the same. You can tell the girl in this picture just doesn’t know what she’s gotten herself into yet :) I think something a lot of people like about me is I get some of their family, for example older parents, to do some romantic pictures they would never normally do.
That is something good about having a photographer, generally people will do what I tell them because they assume I know what I’m doing. Only once is a while will I get a grumpy couple that I can’t get to look romantic, it doesn’t happen very often.
