Wedding in downtown Charleston with a reception at the Daniel Island Club
This is the first time I've been to downtown Charleston, SC for a wedding. I've photographed a couple of weddings at plantations in Charleston which were really pretty, but going to the downtown area was a fun change. In Myrtle Beach my weddings are usually either on the beach or on a golf course, so going to a city location was nice. We were only downtown for a short time before the ceremony to do some on the street pictures. I was limited in what I could do with the time we had available and the bright overhead sun. I'd love to be able to do a wedding someday, where I got to stay around the city for the evening and maybe even for some nighttime pictures of a couple. Almost right after the ceremony we went over to the very pretty Daniel Island Club where the reception was being held. Once we were at the club I was right back into my normal comfort zone for the pictures, it's a beautiful spot very similar to many golf club locations around the beach. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures below, let me know in the comments if you do.
